Kidderpore college women’s Forum conducts several awareness programmes related to woman’s rights. Every year on the 6th of December the Women’s Forum observes “Communal Harmony “ Day remembering the demolition of Babri Masjid and the consequent Hindu-Muslim riot affecting the lives of thousands of people. In October, 2014 the women’s forum organized an awareness programme entitled “Gender Discrimination in educational institutions “ in collaboration with the NGO “Swayam”. In the college premises once again in 2015 the Forum organized an awareness programme entitled “Consumtion of Alcohol by Men and its evil Impact on Women in collaboration with “Swayam”.
